Enzymes are among the most versatile and effective treatments provided by skin care professionals. They are considered a milder form of exfoliation, due to the fact that enzymes break down specific skin structures of the desmosome. chemical peels, by contrast, denature epidermal proteins in a somewhat indiscriminate manner.


Enzymes are proteins that cause a specific chemical change in other substances. Many different types of enzymes function throughout the body, and they are considered catalysts—they make things happen. In skincare, enzymes function mainly to digest, or break, the peptide bonds of proteins. to the esthetician, this means that cellular debris “stuck” to the surface of the skin is gently released, resulting in a fresher, more clarified and brighter appearance.

The type of enzyme used on the skin is critical to the outcome. Circadia's Enzyme treatments come in Cocoa, Raspberry and Zymase Citrus, and contain a combination of bromelain from pineapple, papain from papaya, and trypsin, a serine protease. For freshness and efficacy, powder and activator are individually mixed for each treatment.

Cocoa Enzyme

Your clients will love this magnificently aromatic treatment. It is effective for all skin types but most beneficial for those suffering with acne or rosacea. Raspberry Enzyme

This enzyme blend is enhanced with raspberry seed extract, shown to effectively reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. The raspberry enzyme is often incorporated into a monthly protocol for clients receiving regular SWiCH treatments.

Zymase Citrus Enzyme

This treatment is great for exfoliating thicker, highly keratinized skin. The fragrant citrus blend offers clients the benefit of Vitamin C as well as an effective peel alternative.

Circadia offers two gentle clay masks, Red Tea and Green Tea, which may be used to finish a basic facial, providing calming after extractions and an energizing increase in circulation to the skin.

Green Tea Mask

Circadia’s tea masks are designed to deliver antioxidants to the skin. The green tea mask is oil absorbing therefore, great for acne or youthful skin types. These tea masks will give the skin a more clear even tone with a matte finish.



Red Tea Mask

Circadia’s Red Tea mask is very hydrating and nourishing and is recommended for aging and dehydrated skin types. It is also great for a mini facial just one week after SWiCH treatments. It is also rich in antioxidants, purifying, nourishing and soothing.


Firming Peptide Enzyme

Circadia offers a new Firming Peptide Enzyme that is an occulsive stimulating enzyme in an Albumin and Soybean Flour base with an infusion of key anti-gylcation technology and collagen stmulating peptides. These include L-Carnosine, L-Carnitine, Aspartic Acid and Glumatic Acid as well as the Beta-glucan and dried honey powder. The professioal mask is activated by a pH balanced botanical complex contain Green and White tea, Witch Hazel extract, Chamomile, Marigold Flower extract, Horsetail Exatract and Comfrey Leaf extract.

The result is the vaso-dilation of capillaries resulting in the infusion of all of the key ingredients into the skin with increased oxygenation and a positive plasmatic type effective on the skin. The skin feels lightly exfoliated, cleansed and calm. The treatment starts with a Honey cleanser to compliment the honey powder in this wonderful professional treatment followed by the final application of the Aquaporin or PhiTo-Pep 1.6 creams followed by the trademark Circadia SPF37 light Day Sunscreen. Home care could include the new Glyco-guard and boosting Counter A.G.E to combat cross-linked and glycated skin or PhiTo-Pep peptide cream and the Cyto-com booster serum for advanced dermal maintenance.
