To create such formulations you have to have been working with the skin for decades, and have built up a cumulative understanding of what can be achieved through calculated guessing, testing, and slowly matching ingredients to work with the physiology of the skin, and particularly in the case of this special formulation, researching the immune system. Our skin is designed like the bark of a tree to protect the inner vital organs and when it is attacked it responses accordingly, with inflammation. How it all works...

The Post Peel formulation contains botanical nutrients such as Alpha-bisabolol, a derivative of chamomile which is an anti-microbial anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, healing agent for abraded skin, Allantoin a product which is extracted from the roots and leaves of the comfrey plant, that has been used for years to speed up healing. L-Taurine a highly beneficial amino acid, that helps to build tissue and acts as an additional anti-inflammatory.

In particular, the formulation contains a patented ingredient, which means that the ingredient has been modified from known ingredient substances to become something very unique and worthy of patenting. Dr Pugliese invented ‘Hepes linoleate' an anti-inflammatory ingredient that combines a buffering agent(Hepes) with linoleic acid(long chain essential fatty acid-omega 6) that prevents many of the end product reactions that result from immune systems responses and free radicals. The formulation contains a very high level of Hepes linoleate to create the desired effect of suppressing the cascade action of Nuclear Factor knappa B (nfkb). It is known that NF knappa B is present in large degrees in Rheumatoid Arthritis, in which inflammation is a major component, and also in certain cancer cells including breast cancer. Additionally the formulation includes a Skin Respiratory Factor, an assay tested (LYCD)live yeast cell derivative which is one of the safest wound healing agents in the world, inconjunction with beta-glucan which stimulates the skins macrophage's to purify the skin and remove bacteria, dead cells and toxic waste.
