Treatments and Therapy - 35 Years of Helping Clients at Nefertiti! There are a lot of clinics in the NZ market, a lot of different machines, brands and products. We decided to interview a beauty therapist and corrective specialist who has over 35 years experience in the NZ market and a desire to help people. June Coope of Nefertiti, Auckland, operates two clinics in the North Auckland area, one in Milford, which has been operating for over 20 years and another in Torbay. June started out in makeup artistry with the NZ Opera Company many years ago and also with fashion in the catwalk arena achieving a lot of satisfaction helping people look more beautiful and feel good about themselves. She then decided to own a clinic and further her abilities to help people with their skin problems so she purchased Nefertiti and has built it up over many years to be one of the most successful clinics in the New Zealand. Her husband Mike helps to advise on marketing and branding. June says, "You have to encourage those clients who are feeling down over their own personalized health and beauty problems. As an industry we must strive to make them feel positive about their future treatments and improved complexion and body tones." June believes in a process of evaluating every client's current situation before selling products or treatments just for the sake of making money. This core philosophy is engrained in all the therapists that June employs and trains. She says, "Everything is tested in-house before it is offered to the client and if I wouldn't use a particular treatment or product myself - then I guarantee it won't appear on our services menu or sales shelves."
